The Sims has been nominated for induction into the 2016 World Video Game Hall of Fame. According to the Strong Museum, inductees will be announced during a ceremony at The Strong museum on May 4th, 2016, and selection criteria include a game’s geographical reach, longevity, influence, entertainment, or pop culture.
