So a challenging part I have been wrestling with is that we need something new...some new Sims Theme Design. Since the beginning of The Sims back in 2000, we always had these common major themes Life Expansion Schools/University Parties Dating Vacation Pets Jobs/Careers/Businesses Magical Weather What new theme could our Sims have an adventure? I feel like it's the same themes being rehashed over and over again.
Maybe something with aliens and science-fiction. All the storyline with Strangetown in Sims 2 : aliens, hint of apocalyptic world and space was really interesting. Sadly it didn't develop with Sims 3. Lunar Lake was good looking but hard to make it interesting and only a small part of Lucky Palms made reference to it. And aliens were just weird NPC ... I guess something with that would be really fun.
