He has also confirmed that your Sims will not be able to swim in the ponds, which are finally coming to The Sims 4, however there will be gameplay such as splashing on the pond edges or catching fish. He was also asked about whether you can customise the new animals in Create A Sim, such as foxes or cows. It has been confirmed that they are not available in CAS however you can purchase various colours of cows, chickens and llamas. These animals are not available in CAS. However, you will be able to purchase various colors of Cows, Chickens, and Llamas. For Rabbits you will need to explore the world and befriend the rabbit in your desired color. You will also be able apply the animal clothing in game. — Antonio Romeo (@SimGuruRomeo) June 11, 2021 Touching the pond tool, he was able to confirm that this will be added into the base game free of charge in a game update – so you’ll be able to take advantage of this whether you get the new expansion pack or not! Ponds will be free to everyone when Cottage Living drops. — Antonio Romeo (@SimGuruRomeo) June 11, 2021 He was also able to share a bit of information on how the pond tool works, which has been revealed to work in conjunction with the terrain tools that arrived with Get Famous in 2018.
