The footprint is on one side of the canopy only in order to allow the sims to freely go under it. Just place some decor objects on the other side if you don't want sims walking through the poles.


I try to use base game objects as much as possible, but in this case the room divider that I cloned this to had the best matching footprint.
If anyone needs a base game version (with a smaller footprint) just let me know and I will make it for you.
