After a bit of testing I've found that the game doesn't appreciate Hygiene, Energy, and Hunger being blacklisted commodities. I didn't do very thorough tests on which is causing the issue.
I'll look into ot in a week or so, I'm getting a gaming pc and that will help work myself back to modding. My current pc can barly run the game for 5 mins so i can't do much in my current state. Edit: my laptop is taking a bit of a while to come sorry.

sorry it took some while for my pc to arrive and for me to set it up but now it's here and i can play the game again.
I'm having some trouble with these mods working properly. The forbidden fruit will no longer germinate (says it needs to be in a more open place, I've tried an empty lot and it won't grow), I've downloaded forbidden trees from the gallery but they still look like plantains with no description to them and clicking on them gives a plantsim an option to eat the tree, and Hygiene still appears as a sim motive. The cure also has no description on it. I also noticed the sunlight motive always seems to stay up whilst indoors, I'm not sure if this is a bug although it is a problem when not using the mods as the motive goes down very fast by default and drains water motive when feeding from sunlight very quickly too. If the intention is to keep the sunlight motive from draining too quickly at night then maybe something a little less cheaty would be something like a sun lamp to provide sunlight like in Sims 2?
I'm not sure if this is caused by the update or if it is part of the mod since I just started using it. The water decay is so high all my sim does is drink water. LOL.
Same here it decays way too fast lol - I have also a request, is there a way to space out the Photosynthesising animation ?

I also agree that the Water Motive decays too fast, I've actually had two different Plantsims die of Starvation while playing them (always when sleeping through he night).
Not sure if this mod is being worked on anymore but I believe it's preventing plantsims from absorbing light from plants.

Heyyyyyy! I would LOVE to use this mod with the current version 1.93.129.1030, however, I get a BE that says the forbbiden tree by g1g2.package has an invalid tuning mod. If this Modder g1g2 is not updating, is anyone else willing? Days like this makes me wish I knew how to mod....
