Custom Content Creators and Modders have a thankless job. They spend countless hours honing their craft. In additional those hours, they spend a number of hours crafting amazing items for us to use in game and providing technical support for their work. We truly can’t thank them enough too.

Our mission at SimsWorkshop has always been to do things that makes the community even better. Our focus has continuously been about The Sims Community as a whole. Giving Creators and The Sims Community a better experience.

Today, we are proud to formally roll out our latest feature to help Custom Content Creators: The ability for every Custom Content Creator or Modder to ask for donations.

Asking for donations is not the revolutionary part – the revolutionary part comes in how we handle the request at SimsWorkshop. When anyone downloads custom content, a very small prompt asks if one would consider making a small donation. We designed the donation request to be very clean, not obstructive, and not required to download any custom content.



Users may choose to opt out and not donate, but we hope you would support your favourite custom content creators. Creators may choose ask for donations or they may not to. Donations may be asked on all custom content uploaded today or any custom content uploaded previously.

Best of all, 100% of your donations (sans PayPal fees) goes to support your favourite custom content creator. SimsWorkshop does not take any donations away from Custom Content Creators.
