I'm working to afford to buy the new game, and when I do I want to go back through this mod and double-check everything for functionality! I promise I will do that as soon as I can
So! Theoretically, it still works. I checked the mod, and it appears to be functioning in my game as it did before, but if there are any bugs, LET ME KNOW x
Perhaps I have mods that conflict with others, I don't know, because before it worked, I liked it so much
No such luck. Double checked it and turns out coz they added new recipes, APPARENTLY, that means that my mod isn't working. Other than the fact that I made the mod, I actually have no idea how to fix it, so I will likely start it from scratch or beg someone that I know to help me.
May i suggest looking at https://simsvip.com/2016/06/27/create-mod-updating-mods/ a very close and good friend of mine wrote this tutorial and it’s a good thing to use when it comes to updating your mods and checking for compatibility after every patch

An attempt was made. Not a good one. I got lost. I cannot work out what I'm doing wrong, but it doesn't seem to be working, and I dunno if I particularly feel like doing the whole thing from scratch D: Sorry guys
Do you keep the resources you used to create the mod on your computer? Like in my TS4 modding folders I have all my resources for them saved like this to keep up with everything. If you're willing to learn to mod, you gotta stay organized and prepared to do a lot of updating with patches. I'm going to download the mod, extract the resources and see what it needs to be updated for you and I'm going to create a little tutorial for you for your mod that I'll put on my mediafire account temporarily until you download it then I'll delete it.
But it won't be until I get the resources from the 11/9/17 patch since I deleted mine after I updated my mods with the 11/15/17 patch. So it might be a few days before I get around to it (real life toddler/work/etc)
