YES, I'm excited for the CW's October lineup. Although Arrow's last season disappointed me, I'll still give it another chance. But I'm more excited to see The Flash, Supernatural and LoT.
Yeah but there was too much Felicity. She's cool but I think they overused her in a bad way. She seemed flat throughout the reason just crying or complaining or making awkward cringy jokes. Her storyline with Oliver was too much of a distraction. It felt like a teen drama rather than a superhero show. I want Arrow not Felicity & Friends. Hopefully that'll change this season. It looks promising.
Supernatural of course. As old X-Files fans, you cannot not like Supernatural Also, The Young Pope is super interesting. Travelers is a nice twist on time travel. Hooten & the Lady was quite fun, but some of us are die hard fans of Indiana Jones
Last night's episode was pretty epic. I love the crossovers and how they are weaving all the narratives together. Props to the writers of all the series. It's being down very very well.
I loved the crossovers so much but my problem is with Supergirl. Let me explain. The first night, Supergirl didn't feel like a part of the crossover, the very end was just introduction. They could've done that with last week's episode and completely dedicate the episode to the crossover. Maybe even introduce the cast like J'onn, Winn, Jimmy and Alex to the other characters of the rest of the shows. Including them would have been way more fun. And for the rest of the crossover, they really didn't give Kara justice. Oliver treated her like noob and the directors didn't give her enough screen or dialogue time. But I understand since it's hard to cram all of these characters in 3 episodes. They did a good job actually giving the remaining cast their time in each of their shows. Iris and Wally in The Flash episode for example, or Rene, Curtis and Rory in Arrow. The rest of the episodes were amazing though. The fight scene in LoT was epic. I loved the synergism between them. Poor Barry though, everybody (especially Cisco) was trash talking him the entire crossover except for Oliver and Kara.
Finally got around to watching Thursday's episode of Legends of Tomorrow, and wow...the episode was good, but I couldn't help but feel the episode was a bit rushed? or hallow? Either way, it left me on a weird footing..or feeling. Something I haven't put my finger on.
