I've been playing Sims since the Sims 1, (Which I don't own anymore) I own the Sims 2, Sims 3 and Sims 4. I love the Sims 3 and 4, they're my favorite I love the graphics in Sims 4 but I love the open world and all of the options from Sims 3, I think if they brought Seasons and University to Sims 4 I'd possibly play it more often I still do but Sims 3 definitely takes the cake. I wanted to know your thoughts.
I actually got the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection added to my origin account the other day! Cos I had the physical copy and a lot of expansions, but you just need your Sims 2 code and they give it to you. Cos my computer and a lot of newer ones don't have disk drives and I wanted to play it, so I contacted origin to see how I could do that and they added it to my account. Yeah, I loved Sims 2 was probably my favorite. I have it now just so I can mess around in it, but Sims 3-4 I play the most.
Sometimes newer isn't better. For some strange reason, I enjoyed the older version of The Sims 2. It felt less...gimmicky?
We agree with you Josh. We love that we can create for Sims 4, really. But we don't play the game. It's too empty and we get bored easily. After the blast we had with Sims 2 and than Sims 3 ? No way. We loved World Adventures. Somehow, the bad choice of Cider for Sims 3 on Mac came with less problems to play. But some of us still play Sims 3 like there's no tomorrow We loved the tone and humour of Sims 2. Since we are on Macs, Aspyr did a wonderful job with graphic on the Sims 2 reboot and it is a pleasure to play it again. Sadly, we'll probably never get the missing extensions. In any case, we all have hard time to play Sims 4. It's empty and since we keep modding the terrains, you can guess we are not fond of the graphic look. ( and we'll have to face that too with Civilization 6, err, Facebook what have you done to our world ! )
