Mods WIP: The Sims 4 Grocery Store Mod!

    I'm working on a grocery store mod for The Sims 4 and it's coming along well! If all goes to plan, you'll be able to try a beta soon!

    Features so far
    • Produce stands and freezers converted from TS2 by simlifecc.tumblr.com with functionality! Sims can buy all in-game fruit, veg and herbs from the produce stands, and can buy fish and other meat from the freezers.
    • DIY objects which function as retail fridges! Sell your own harvestables on retail lots using the freezers or produce stands.
    Planned features (but I'll need help for some!)
    • Custom moodlets from buying produce
    • A custom career for teens
    • The ability for households to make money from the non-DIY versions (the ones you don't stock yourself)
    Ways to enhance the mod experience
    • This mod adds lots of cooking ingredients to the game, and will populate the Meat & Dairy section of the freezer.
    When can I get it?
    • Soon! There are a few more tests to be done, and I am waiting to get the all-clear from the mesh creator for using her mesh.

    I do have one question. I am using custom foods from plasticbox and others at MTS and wondered if those items, ie lettuce, oranges, olives will automatically be added to your mod or require a manual add on to those items? Just something I thought about since I want to stop gardening in most of my households.

    As far as I know, custom ingredients do work with this mod!

    I just tested with custom food items and the orange, lettuce, and olive show up in the list! :) Are there any other items out there I should check for?

    Will you be putting this mod up for testing? I would love to test it, and I was also wondering if you're working with the creator of the other mod you listed to enhance your mod?

    Hi Claudia! First of all, I am really going to keep testing to a closed group of people before I release version 1.0. However, that shouldn't take long. Your name will stay in the back of my head!

    Also, as I said over on MTS, I have spoken to the maker of the Buy from Fridge mod. There is very little overlap between the mods so as a result there's little to work together on!

    Hi George! I understand that. Feel free to PM me if you need testers! I am excited for this mod, I am glad you are working on it. I am also glad for the response you posted on MTS, it's good you two are working separately and not stealing each other's work! I was concerned about that at first, which is why I posted about it. But I'm glad to see how different the mods are! <3 I do hope you didn't take offense, that wasn't my intention.

    hi there i loved your mod so much and i really appreciate your work
    i do cc on mts and i thought maybe you would be interested on adding this conversion from ts3 to your mod

    also i have a bug iam in low settings so my game shouldn't have shadows but the vegetable have a really long shade around it
